Oxford Fajar wins 2 awards at the 2015 National Book Awards!
In the recent National Book Awards 2015 organised by the National Book Development Foundation, two Oxford Fajar publications were named winners in these categories:
Best General Book (Writing Category): 'Integrated Language Skills - Writing' by Dr Naginder Kaur & Noorazalia Izha Haron
As an English language textbook, ‘Integrated Language Skills - Writing’ is specially designed to equip students pursuing intermediate level English language courses at higher learning with the necessary writing skills that will help them excel in their academic programmes, while also covering reading and speaking skills. The authors, Dr Naginder and Noorazalia are lecturers from the Academy of Language Studies, UiTM with extensive experience in English language teaching.

Best Children’s Book: 'Mari Membaca Lagi' Prof Dato’ Dr Halimah Badioze Zaman
‘Mari Membaca Lagi’ is an early literacy programme tailored specially for teaching young learners in a way that encourages reading, writing, mathematics, logical and scientific thinking as well as communication. The programme comes in a complete learning and teaching kit including 3 levels of readers, teachers guide and CD-ROM with interactive activities. The programme was developed by Prof Dato’ Dr Halimah who is a Director at the Centre of Excellence in ICT, UKM with over 30 years of experience as a lecturer.
